What can you expect when you attend one of our services?  The first thing you can expect is a loving welcome.  Whether it is 1st time visiting or your 100th time, we are thankful that you are here.  It shows a desire and and a spirituality that not many people have and you are our honored guest, so welcome!  As far as our services each Sunday, what else can you expect?

The Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7)

It is a wonderful thing to gather around the Lord's table to remember and proclaim what He has done.  We remember His sacrifice and death as we partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine.  These represent the Lord's body and His blood (Matt. 26: 26-28).  It is also a time of careful self-examination (1 Cor. 11:28) as we remember the covenant that has been established.

Prayer (1 Tim. 2:8)

Our assemblies are a time of prayer.  We cast our cares upon God who cares for us, but it is more than just asking.  Our prayers are a time of praise as well.

Singing (Eph. 5:19)

You can expect singing in our services as well.  We have no mechanical instruments as we do not find new testament Christians using such things, but don't let that put you off.  We love to sing and the whole congregation sings together, praising the Lord and encouraging one another.  We hope you sing with us!

Giving (1 Cor. 16: 1,2)

Each Lord's day we take up a free-will offering.  While you may give, visitors are not required to.  For that matter, no one is required too!  It is freely given as each one of us purposed in our heart.  We love to give showing our gratitude for our blessings and to help the church do the work Jesus has for it.  

Preaching (2 Tim. 4: 2-5)

Each Lord's day we have preaching from God's word, so bring your bible if you have one!  While an occasional analogy or tidbit of humor may be interjected in the sermon, this is neither story hour nor comedy hour.  This is the word of God that we are proclaiming and studying and should be taken seriously.

We hope to see you.  We are always happy to answer any questions you have.  On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings we have bible classes for different ages that you are also welcome to be a part of.
